Juicing-fasting diet basics
The juicing-fasting diet is a detoxification diet, which helps to detoxify the liver and gastrointestinal (GI) system from any toxins that may have accumulated over time.
The juicing-fasting diet claims that it helps to ease the pressure on the gastrointestinal system by allowing more simply foods to pass through it and so help cleanse it.
There are many forms of the juicing-fasting diet, from really dangerous ones which include strong laxatives and little real food, to more reasonable ones which recommend all fruits and vegetables, plus a few herbs and other items.
The juicing-fasting diet that is discussed here is the one devised by Dr Sandra Cabot, a doctor who recommends detoxification of the liver as a path to good health. This juicing-fasting diet is one of the better ones.
