“Junk foods facts”

Junk foods - these are foods with little (or no) nutritional value, are high in fat (especially saturated fats), may even have some trans fats, are high in calories or sugar or both and have a lot of artificial food additives! While junk foods tend to taste good, they really are not very healthy or good for us.

Junk foods are a way of modern life for just about everyone and are really hard to avoid all of the time, as they provide a quick, convenient rush of energy which is too easy to access when we do not have the time to cook a proper meal.

But, despite this, we can try to make healthier choices even when we eat do junk foods and try to eat the ones that are a little less unhealthy for us.

This is the best place to find out which junk foods are the best and worst choices, but always remember to eat in moderation to avoid weight gain:
